Gail Schonfeld is a founder and director of the RisaFund , a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the well-being of underserved youth in Washington, D.C. The fund provides support through grants that promote the arts, athletic enrichment and improved access to mental health services for young people. The RisaFund started the Risa Wellness Project at THEARC which includes expanded mental health services and art therapy. In addition, the RisaFund has a partnership with Leveling the Playing Field where we collect gently used tennis gear and distribute it to inner city tennis programs in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Ms. Schonfeld is a member of Georgetown University Department of Adolescent and Child Psychiatry Advisory Board, the Community Foundation of the National Capitol Area Sharing Committee, Many Hands Giving Circle, and a reviewer for the Catalog for Philanthropy. Ms. Schonfeld previously served as director of the Institute for Rehabilitation and Disability Management at the Washington Business Group on Health. She holds a B.S. in Rehabilitation Services from Boston University and a M.P.H. from Yale University.
Constance Klein is the Founder of Believing Mirror – an initiative focused on connecting global brands with high-impact nonprofits and supporting the growth of new social enterprises (for-profit companies focused on social change).
Since the launch of Believing Mirror in Fall of 2017, Constance helped secure a high-profile patronage for Artolution. This exciting partnership has provided the funding and strategic support needed to strengthen Artolution’s visibility, credibility and impact, internationally. Constance is also partnered with Lanto Montessori International Schools Trust, The Literacy Army’, an Early Reading Mastery program designed to advance literacy in underprivileged communities and DanceToBeFree.org which brings the healing power of collective dance to incarcerated women.

Prior to launching Believing Mirror, she founded and ran Scout Talent LLC – an international executive search firm specializing in fashion, luxury and lifestyle. She has worked extensively in the US and abroad to place senior management talent at iconic client brands, like Chanel, Ermenegildo Zegna, Coach, Tory Burch, Louis Vuitton, Barneys, Under Armour, Gap and Cole Haan. Her vast international network of cross-industry professionals and brand decision makers developed over years in Executive Search fuel her work at Believing Mirror.

Shiphrah A. Mutungi
Shiphrah Mutungi is a development professional with over 20 years of experience and technical skills in conflict transformation, peace building, trauma and resilience building, organization development processes including programs and systems development. She has developed, implemented and managed a wide range of projects including start up, piloting, monitoring and evaluation, sustainability, developing effective teams and curriculum development.
Shiphrah has held program management and leadership positions with various organizations in East Africa. She is currently supporting the implementation and development of a sustainability strategy for Morning Star, a trauma awareness program implemented by EACOM International South Sudan. She is a PhD candidate in Organization development (OD), a graduate in conflict transformation from Center for Justice and Peace Building from Eastern Mennonite University, VA USA, and holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, both from Makerere University. She was also trained in Global Mental Health - Trauma and Recovery at Harvard Medical School, MA USA.
Enoh T. Ebong
Enoh T. Ebong served as Deputy Director and chief operating officer of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, which helps U.S. businesses create jobs through the export of their goods and services for priority development projects in emerging economies. USTDA links U.S. companies to global export opportunities by providing early project preparation assistance that matches U.S. technological expertise with overseas infrastructure development needs – creating lasting business partnerships between the United States and emerging market economies. Ms. Ebong oversaw the operations of the Agency and managed staff responsible for developing and executing USTDA’s program activities. Ms. Ebong joined USTDA as an attorney-advisor in 2004, and has served in several capacities, including acting Regional Director for sub-Saharan Africa, Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel. As the chief legal officer of the Agency, Ms. Ebong provided authoritative legal advice and direction on all program and operations activities; represented USTDA in connection with matters affecting the Agency; and provided legal guidance to the Director on broad issues related to the mission, strategic direction and effectiveness of the Agency.
Prior to joining USTDA, Ms. Ebong practiced law at the Boston office of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. in the area of business and finance. Her practice included the representation of public and private companies, with an emphasis on financing transactions for both start-ups and established businesses; mergers and acquisitions; and corporate governance issues. Ms. Ebong received her undergraduate degree from The University of Edinburgh, and her Master of Arts in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
Martin Fletcher covered world events for forty years, including the twenty-six years he spent as an NBC correspondent in Israel and the fifteen years as Bureau Chief as well. During Martin’s career, he has won almost every award in TV journalism, including the du Pont, known as the TV Pulitzer, five Overseas Press Club Awards, the Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence several times, five Emmy Awards and many others. The Emmys were for his coverage of Kosovo, another separate award for his work in Rwanda, and three for his reporting from Israel; one for the first Palestinian uprising, one for the second uprising, and the third for coverage of Israel’s war with Lebanon in 2006.
Martin walked for three weeks across the Hindu Kush mountains from Pakistan into Afghanistan with the Mujahideen, today’s Taliban, to report on the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. He was the only television reporter to join the Khmer rouge in Cambodia. He was the only reporter to enter the American embassy in Tehran when Iranian students held American diplomats hostage for 444 days. He began his journalism career with the BBC in London, continued as a cameraman with Visnews, where he won an award from the Royal Society of Television Cameraman of the Year, and has lived in Africa, Europe and the Middle East, and worked in almost every country on the planet. Anderson Cooper called him “for several decades the gold standard of war correspondents.” Martin retired from NBC in January 2010 but still works for them on contract as a Special Correspondent.
In 2008, Martin published his first book, “Breaking News”, and he still continues his passion for writing today. He is also known for his published works “Walking Israel,” “The List,” and “Jacob’s Oath”. Martin has described his own style, “All my writing is based on way too much research, a fault I ascribe to my journalistic background. I love the research, the fishing expeditions in people’s lives, using what I find to invent a story that is true to a character”.
B. Jeffrey Madoff
B. Jeffrey Madoff is the Founder & CEO of Madoff Productions, a New York based creative production company. He has directed award winning commercials, documentaries and web content around the world.
Madoff is an adjunct professor at Parsons, The New School for Design teaching a course he developed called “Creative Careers: Making a Living with Your Ideas”. He interviews a wide range of entrepreneurs, artists, writers, business leaders and startups about their journey. A book about his class will be published in the spring of 2020 by Da Capo Press, the non-fiction imprint of Hachette Book Group.
He is a sought after speaker and consultant on how to create a brand, having produced the brand videos for Ralph Lauren, Victoria’s Secret, The Harvard School for Public Health, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and many others. He has been a keynote speaker at Wharton School, NYU Steinhardt, South By South West, Barclay’s Bank Rise Innovation, Google Next, New York City Economic Development Commission, North Carolina State Masters of Luxury Marketing program and Horizon Media to name a few.
Madoff has written and is producing his first play for the NY stage: “Personality: The Lloyd Price Musical” about the life of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend Lloyd Price.
Madoff graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin with degrees in philosophy & psychology. He was also on the wrestling team, which combined with his academic studies prepared him for a life in the film business.
Larry Marlow is CEO of Marlow Hampshire, an Australasian management consulting company, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Technology, Sydney. He has been an industry nomad having held senior positions in information technology, market research, clinical psychology, public health, medical research, academia, and management consulting before establishing his own consulting firm.
He has been appointed by the Australian Department of Prime Minister & Cabinet to facilitate the national Aboriginal Reconciliation Council, chaired the bellwether committee to advance the professional and legal boundaries between medicine & nursing in Australia, and managed a six year project to change the organisation culture of State prisons. He has established training programs for counsellors to Vietnamese refugees arriving in Australia, and for indigenous health workers in remote aboriginal communities. He has also worked on projects for the W.H.O. at the Cholera Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in the PRC, and at the Fiji School of Medicine.
Larry has been commissioned by 42 Universities in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific to assist with strategic thinking and academic/research leadership capability development. He has also consulted to a significant number of major multinational and leading Australasian companies as well as a wide range of public service agencies from R&D and Finance to Child Protection and Police. He is registered as both a clinical and organisational psychologist and his work includes executive coaching and training of mentors.
For the last several years he has been working intensively with health and biomedical research groups across Australia to develop the skills of research leaders and to foster interdisciplinarity, collaboration and speed the dissemination and impact of research.
A British and Australian dual citizen Larry lives in Sydney with his partner, Julie Manfredi Hughes, and has three adult children.
With over 15 years of global industry experience, where he lived in 6 different countries, Rodrigo Moran is an SVP Global Group Creative Director at Edelman, NY and He is also the leader of the Pirate Team - a collective of creatives from all over the world who identify social injustices/problems, ideate creative solutions, and work to make relationships with government officials, business partners, and vendors to make ideas realities.
His curiosity and determination to seek inspiration outside his comfort zone have allowed him to work for prestigious agencies and companies in the United Kingdom, China, Brazil and the United States. Some of these companies include Ogilvy/NY, Vidal Partnership/NY, Saatchi & Saatchi London, Duda Mendonça. Globalworks/NY and G2 Creative Studio, in Beijing.
A globally recognized talent, Rodrigo's work has been awarded at the most prestigious festivals in the industry. Rodrigo has more than 75 major awards including Grand Prix and Titanium in Cannes, Best of Show and Best of Category at the One Show, Yellow Pencil at the D&AD, Grand Prizes and First Prizes at the New York Festivals and Clios. His most recent accomplishment is having his work acquired to the permanent collection of the MOMA and, currently, featured in the main lobby of the museum. His work is also at several other museums around the world, including the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum and Design Museum in London. Before discovering his passion for advertising, he worked in marketing, sales and even as a bank manager.

Luther is passionate about building community through technology and art. He has over 25 years of board, executive and management experience in Canada and Australia specialising in finance and investment, strategy, business start-up, and venture capital. His own industry experience includes investment banking, new media, government and not-for-profit institutions.
Currently, Luther is CFO and Head of Venture Capital at BlueChilli Technology, a Sydney-based Australian-American startup accelerator/incubator for tech companies. He is also a co-founder and strategic adviser to DICE Kids, an Australian education NFP that focusses on growing a digital, innovative, creative and entrepreneurial generations, and a strategic Board advisor to TokenOne, a global cybersecurity firm. Additionally, he is a mentor to a number of founder CEOs, an active investor in startups as well as into mature private companies such as Koda Capital.
Luther completed a BA (Philosophy) from Canada‘s Western University, and an MBA (with Distinction) at University of Sydney (AGSM) in addition to various qualifications in financial markets. Luther is an active member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a decorated retired Naval Officer in Canada and Australia. A citizen of both Australia and Canada, Luther lives in Sydney with his wife Catherine Greer, a published author, and their two young sons.
Mr. Ty Flewelling, PA-C is a Senior Medical Attaché for the U.S. Department of State. He is a Physician Assistant, Board Certified in primary care and surgery. As a career U.S. Foreign Service Diplomat, he has spent the past eighteen years providing high quality healthcare in remote and austere locations across the globe to members of the U.S. Federal Government from the U.S. Presidents down to entry-level officers and their family members.
As a senior member of the U.S. Embassy Mission, Mr. Flewelling assists in developing health policy briefings for the U.S. Ambassador and visiting Congressional Delegations, monitors for the emergence of infectious diseases and provides real-time data on the ground when outbreaks occur. Mr. Flewelling is also responsible for disaster preparedness plans for the U.S. Diplomatic Missions he covers. These plans include shelter-in-place planning, mass casualty response, and Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical preparedness planning and response.
Mr. Flewelling has served at U.S. Embassies in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Dominican Republic, and Mozambique. Prior to his assignment as Clinical Director of the Medical Evacuation Center in Pretoria, he was the Medical Attache for the U.S. Mission in Israel and the Deputy Director of the Office of Medical Clearances in Washington, DC. Prior to joining the State Department, Mr. Flewelling was the Deputy Director of the Navajo Nation Health Foundation Emergency Medicine Department where he provided emergency services to 25,000 Navajo.
Prior to PA school, Mr. Flewelling was a Paramedic for 13 years. He was in the first paramedic class in Sioux City Iowa in 1982, and worked as a paramedic in Las Vegas Nevada, The Nevada Nuclear Test Site, Caspar Wyoming Life Flight, Albuquerque New Mexico Life Guard Air Emergency Services, and Orland Florida. Mr. Flewelling was the School Board Chairman for the Tashkent International School from 1999 to 2001, as well as the Chairman of the Walworth Barbour American International School in Israel with campuses in Evan Yehuda and Jerusalem, Israel from 2013 to 2015.
He is married to Svetlana Flewelling and has three children, the oldest (Diana Flewelling) is also a Foreign Service Officer.
Myra Gordon has been a community activist and non-profit leader since she moved to Central Illinois in 1972. She was on the leadership team of Operation Recycle and became the Director of the organization when it became a full time community recycling center. She is a past two term president of the McLean County League of Women Voters and past Treasurer of the Illinois Recycling Association. She served as Vice President of the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation Board, before becoming its permanent Executive Director, a position she held for six years. Awards include YWCA Woman of Distinction and Town of Normal Citizen of the Year. She and her husband George have been named to the Illinois State University Arts and Science Hall of Fame. Myra is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Masters in English from Illinois State University. She currently serves on the boards of the Multicultural Leadership Institute and the Ecology Action Center.
Brendan Rowswell is a Director at a leading public affairs firm in Melbourne, Australia whose clients are major local and international companies within the technology, cyber security, infrastructure and transport sectors. He regularly represents not-for-profit clients in their dealings with federal and state governments.
Brendan was an adviser to a Member of the Federal Parliament during the third and fourth terms of the Howard Government. He worked previously as Manager, Public Affairs at one of Australia’s largest industry associations, the Victorian Farmers Federation.
Brendan is an experienced adviser to boards in areas including strategy and communications and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). He has delivered sessions about ways in which not-for-profit board members can support government and stakeholder advocacy.
Brendan is a Non-Executive Director at FMC Mediation and Counselling, a significant provider of family and community programs. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of Melbourne.
Dean Brooks is the Director of the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE). The Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) is an open, global network of UN agencies, NGOs, donors, governments, universities, schools, and affected populations working together to ensure all persons the right to quality education in emergencies and post-crisis recovery. Dean has over two decades of international education experience working in complex emergencies, conflict, disaster and development contexts. Initially, he worked as an international educator (primary, middle-school, and special education). Since 1999, he has focused his work on Education in Emergencies (EiE) and child protection, in a number of settings, including East and West Africa, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. Dean has been an active member of INEE since 2001. He is based at the International Rescue Committee in New York, USA.
